Branded Food Truck Hire: Vuori, Covent Garden

The brief

Vuori needed a food truck that could take their branding and fit into one of the busiest, tightest spots in London. Most food trucks they looked at were too big for the space, and few offered custom branding. Our compact truck ticked both boxes.

Each hot chocolate came with a nudge to visit: as people collected their drink, Vuori's promotional team handed them a leaflet and a store voucher. You've had our hot chocolate, now come and see the store.

What we did

Vuori supplied the artwork, our print partners produced the signage, and we drove the fully branded truck from York to London and into the centre of Covent Garden, setting up on the cobbles of the Piazza outside the historic Market Building.

Getting there was the hardest part of the day. Covent Garden at Christmas is a maze of narrow streets, crowds, taxis and festive rickshaws, with nowhere to park, and we were navigating it in the dark and the rain. A compact truck and careful planning got us into position and set up on time.

The giveaway

From midday, we served hot chocolates as fast as we could, with David on the truck alongside Vuori's own team. Every cup was finished with an individually toasted marshmallow and a printed biscuit carrying the Vuori logo, small touches that made each drink feel special and kept the brand in every customer's hand.

The crowds came quickly. Roped queue lanes kept things moving, and the truck drew a steady buzz across the Piazza all afternoon.

The result

Over 1,000 free hot chocolates in four hours, from 12pm to 4pm. That's a branded drink, a biscuit and a store voucher in someone's hand roughly every 14 seconds, in one of London's busiest shopping destinations.
