Our signature sausage

Our signature sausage is 26cm long with an 85% pork content. Gluten-free as standard (no filler!), skinless, smoked, and seasoned to perfection. A long way from those things in a jar, these are proper hot dogs, done right.

The Roll & Toppings

All our dogs come in soft brioche rolls, lightly toasted on the grill for fluffiness. Our toppings range from classic ketchup and crispy onions to sauerkraut, gherkin, pastrami, and some spicy extras! We’ve got crowd-pleasers to suit all the family!

Ever wondered what makes a Mr Hot Dog sausage different from a frankfurter or a bratwurst? Here’s the quick bite-sized guide.

Hot Dogs

Ours are proper, high-quality hot dogs, made from 85% finely ground pork shoulder and belly. They are smoked for flavour and seasoned with a unique spice blend for a rich, savoury taste. Skinless for a smooth mouth feel and gluten free as standard.

Frankfurters

The traditional German style that inspired the American hot dog. Frankfurters aver very lightly smoked and wrapped in a thin casing for that trademark “snap”. Milder in flavour and smoother in texture than ours, but in the same family.

Bratwurst

Bratwursts are chunkier, herby and made from coarser ground pork than a hot dog. With spices like marjoram and caraway, a bratwurst is lighter in colour and not smoked. It’s more a barbecue sausage than a hot dog. Delicious, but a very different thing.
